About Phoenix School Counseling
Phoenix School Counseling has been providing professional counseling services to nonpublic schools since 1981. Our team of licensed school counselors, psychologists, and alcohol & drug counselors supports students in emotional growth, behavioral management, relationship building, and prevention.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated K-8 School Counselor to support students’ social, emotional, and academic needs. This role is ideal for compassionate professionals passionate about student well-being and collaborative school partnerships.
A Day in the Life

Collaborate with administration to review student referrals and interventions.

Lead and co-create student support teams/MTSS.

Support and implement Tier 1 programs; provide professional development for teachers as needed.

Develop cross-grade Tier 2 support groups.

Maintain awareness of diagnoses and support Tier 3 student plans.

Partner with parents, offering referrals to PSC or outside resources when needed.

Provide career and college readiness guidance.
Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in School Counseling or related program.

License: MN School Counselor License (or candidates in pre-licensure counseling program preferred).
