About The Harmony Trust

Established in 2014, The Harmony Trust oversees 17 thriving primary academies across the North West and East Midlands. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for motivated, skilled individuals to join our central Finance team—a key function supporting our educational mission.

Available Roles

We are currently hiring for multiple roles in our central Finance team:

1. Trust Accountant (Full Time, Full Year)

  • Lead trust-wide financial processes and reporting

  • Ensure compliance with ESFA and Academy Trust Handbook

2. Trust Finance Officer (Full Time, Full Year)

  • Support day-to-day financial transactions and academy budgeting

  • Liaise with academies and central team

3. Finance Business Partner (Full Time, Full Year)

  • Act as a strategic financial lead for assigned academies

  • Provide tailored support and advice to school leaders

4. Accounts Payable Officer (27.5 hrs/week, TTO +10)

  • Manage supplier payments and purchasing systems

  • Maintain accurate financial records

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience (or willingness to obtain)

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

  • Strong financial knowledge and experience with:

    • Financial regulations & academy trust requirements

    • ESFA Academy Trust Handbook

    • Financial systems, spreadsheets, databases

  • A values-driven, team-oriented approach
