About Procare Solutions:

Procare Solutions empowers early childhood educators with comprehensive management tools. They are seeking a SecOps Cybersecurity Analyst to join their corporate cybersecurity team.

Role Overview:

The SecOps Cybersecurity Analyst will monitor, detect, and respond to security threats and incidents, ensuring the organization’s security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform threat identification and vulnerability monitoring.
  • Utilize log ingestion platforms for security analytics.
  • Monitor the threat landscape and advise on emerging threats.
  • Install, configure, and maintain security tools (SIEM, etc.).
  • Manage the Cybersecurity Incident Response (CISRT) process.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents.
  • Maintain incident reports and security assessments.
  • Monitor system agents and patching.
  • Monitor multiple environments for threats and risks.
  • Manage secure email gateway and certificates.
  • Deploy proactive security monitoring and alerting capabilities.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and recommend best practices.
  • Validate security standards and benchmarks.
  • Update security metrics.
  • Support security audits and assessments.
  • Provide operational support (on-call rotation).

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or 8+ years’ cybersecurity experience.
  • 5+ years’ incident response/SOC experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience with security tools (SIEM, etc.).
  • Expertise in threat intelligence, incident response, SIEM, EDR/MDR, SOAR, Vulnerability Management.
  • Security certifications (CISSP, etc.).
  • Understanding of system and security controls (Windows, Linux, macOS).
  • Understanding of network security concepts.
  • Experience with security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
  • Experience creating management dashboards.
  • Ability to analyze security logs and network traffic.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Participation in SOC2 and/or PCI-DSS audit cycles.
  • Experience with Agile development (JIRA).
  • Experience with security tools (Qualys, Splunk, etc.).
  • Understanding of cryptographic algorithms.
