Job Summary
The Security Awareness & Education Analyst III will play a key role in strengthening our security culture by developing and executing targeted phishing simulations, creating engaging security awareness content, and leading training initiatives. This position requires expertise in analyzing data and trends to refine strategies, improve training effectiveness, and drive security behavior changes. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, capable of translating complex security concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
Responsibilities

Assess and evaluate systems to identify vulnerabilities and risks.

Implement new or upgraded security measures and document changes.

Review security violation reports, investigate exceptions, and collaborate with internal teams or external agencies.

Develop and implement security controls to prevent attacks or breaches.

Advise on penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.

Research and evaluate cybersecurity threats and perform root cause analysis.

Assist in vendor assessments and ensure compliance with security requirements.

Provide management with regular reports, metrics, and dashboards.
Qualifications
Basic:
-
Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in IT Security, or a High School/GED with 4 years of IT Security experience.

Experience in Security Engineering, Threat Response, Security Operations, IT Operations, IT Compliance, or IT Governance.

Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, or Mathematics.

CISSP or CISA Certification.
