About the Role
The Security Analyst will help protect and strengthen critical digital assets by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats. You will lead incident response activities, conduct vulnerability assessments, and collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards. This role emphasizes hands-on threat management, continuous improvement, and active contribution to organizational cybersecurity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats across network, endpoint, and application environments.

Conduct vulnerability assessments, implement remediation plans, and maintain system hardening.

Lead incident response, including containment, mitigation, and reporting.

Analyze security logs, network traffic, and endpoint data to detect suspicious activity.

Maintain compliance documentation and support policy development for regulatory requirements.

Deliver security awareness training and promote best practices organization-wide.

Track, analyze, and report key security metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in security analysis, threat intelligence, or information security practices.

Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including NIST and HIPAA.

Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM platforms, threat intelligence platforms, and vulnerability management software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and teams.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM.

Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
