What You’ll Do

Customer Engagement & Sales

• Greet and engage shoppers with energy and enthusiasm

• Educate customers about featured products through in-store demonstrations

• Prepare and offer product samples while highlighting promotions and value

• Share product knowledge and assist with questions to enhance the shopping experience

• Help customers find merchandise and offer personalized suggestions

• Collaborate with team members to support special events and store celebrations

Event Setup & Execution

• Set up and break down demo stations, including preparing product samples, equipment, and marketing materials

• Follow provided scripts, product stories, and talking points

• Ensure signage, recipe cards, coupons, and other marketing tools are properly displayed

• Track sales metrics and report outcomes to help improve performance

Food Safety & Cleanliness

• Follow H-E-B’s strict food safety standards and best practices

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional demo station

• Attend required food safety and customer service trainings

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum age: 18 years

• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred

• Sales or product demonstration experience is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable speaking in front of customers and working independently

• Enthusiasm for food, people, and helping others

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work flexible shifts, including weekends

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for extended periods (5.5+ hours/day)

• Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs and handle moderate physical activity

• Occasionally exposed to cold, heat, wet conditions, and store noise

• Ability to perform bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching as needed
