Our customer is a growing food company on the south shore of MTL. They are actively looking for a senior accountant to join their team. They are looking for a leader that will guide and elevate their team.
This person will be responsible for:
- Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
- Producing error-free accounting reports and presenting their results
- Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status
- Spotting errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Providing technical support and advice
- Reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Managing and guiding the accounting team
- Participating in financial standards setting and in forecast process
- Providing input into department’s goal setting process
- Preparing financial statements and budgets
- Assisting with tax audits and tax return
