Responsibilities:

  • Manage the general ledger and oversee month-end and year-end closings

  • Process payroll, accounts payable accruals, and deferrals

  • Prepare journal entries, allocations, and intercompany invoices

  • Reconcile intercompany accounts and monthly balance sheets

  • Analyze revenue and expenses for accurate financial reporting

  • Maintain fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and credit card reconciliations

  • Assist with tax return preparation and compliance

  • Supervise accounts payable and support internal/external audits

  • Prepare and file multi-state sales tax returns

  • Develop and standardize accounting policies and procedures

  • Generate financial and statistical reports, including balance sheets and P&L statements

  • Respond to financial inquiries and support audit processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or food service

  • Strong skills in accounts payable, financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and tax compliance

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

  • Excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate cross-functionally
