Key Responsibilities of a Senior Accountant

Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and resolve discrepancies.

Compile monthly financial reporting packages for assigned regional offices and conduct variance analysis.

Research accounting guidance, prepare technical memos, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Support new process and procedure development to enhance month-end close and reporting accuracy.

Collaborate between property and corporate accounting teams to improve coordination.

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Role
