What You’ll Do:
As an Accountant, you’ll be a key player in assembling complex financial statements, overseeing expenditure recording, and ensuring general ledger accuracy. You’ll analyze financial operations, recommend improvements, assist in audit preparation, and develop project revenue/expenditure reports. You may also provide guidance to less experienced team members.
What You Bring:
- Experience:
- 8+ years accounting experience with 2+ years of formal accounting/finance training/certification; OR
- Associate’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 6+ years accounting experience; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 4+ years accounting experience; OR
- Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration and 2+ years accounting experience.
- Broad knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP).
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Proficiency in office software, including financial systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- SAP and/or Power BI/Business Objects experience.
- Mining industry experience.
Benefits & Compensation:
We offer a comprehensive benefits package starting day one, including health, wellness, life insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings. The estimated annual pay range for this role is $76,000-$104,000, with actual pay based on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for discretionary and incentive-based pay.
