About the Role

As Senior Accountant II, you will play a key role in financial operations, including cash management, financial performance, internal controls, auditing, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and balance sheet accounts.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting and GAAS auditing standards.

  • Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and internal controls.

  • Assist with grants, tax filings, budgeting, and audit preparations.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements for accurate financial reporting.

  • Provide guidance to staff and senior accountants as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).

  • 5+ years of hospital accounting experience (or 2+ years of public accounting).

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, and financial reporting.

  • Experience with accounting software and financial systems.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
