About the Role
As Senior Accountant II, you will play a key role in financial operations, including cash management, financial performance, internal controls, auditing, and reporting.
Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and balance sheet accounts.

Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting and GAAS auditing standards.

Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and internal controls.

Assist with grants, tax filings, budgeting, and audit preparations.

Recommend and implement process improvements for accurate financial reporting.

Provide guidance to staff and senior accountants as needed.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).

5+ years of hospital accounting experience (or 2+ years of public accounting).

Strong knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, and financial reporting.

Experience with accounting software and financial systems.
-
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
