Job Overview
Our client, a prominent brand in Sports & Media, is seeking a skilled accountant with a background in public accounting and corporate experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform General Ledger reconciliations.

Oversee payroll operations, including staff and third-party agency payments.

Manage chargeback disputes with retail partners, ensuring accurate revenue recognition.

Conduct variance analysis and provide clear explanations for discrepancies in monthly financial reports.

Apply strong understanding of debits and credits for accurate financial statements.

Prepare and analyze journal entries, accruals, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.

Partner with FP&A teams for month-end close and performance analysis.

Support external audits by preparing schedules and coordinating with auditors.

Maintain and update accurate accrual records.

Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed.
Qualifications:
-
3+ years of professional accounting experience.

3+ years in cosmetics/beauty, fashion retail, or consumer goods industries.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or equivalent experience).
-
Strong Excel skills.
