About the Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin) Role

You’ll collaborate closely with the founding iOS engineer, CTO, and product team to build and refine sophisticated Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. This position offers full autonomy, rapid learning cycles, and the excitement of early-stage development where your contributions matter every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including iOS, backend, and product to deliver seamless experiences.

• Contribute to architectural decisions, performance optimizations, and product strategy.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following MVVM principles.

• Participate in fast-paced iteration cycles to refine and improve app functionality.

Qualifications for Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin)

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of Android development experience.

• Proficiency in Kotlin with experience in modern Android frameworks (Jetpack Compose, MVVM).

• Strong collaboration skills in startup or agile environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in wellness, health tech, or habit-forming product spaces.

• Prior work at early-stage or high-growth startups.

• Excellent communication and a proactive mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $180,000–$250,000 + Bonus + Equity
