The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join our remote-first, collaborative team. You’ll build and enhance native Android apps in Kotlin, using MVVM architecture and Jetpack Compose, helping millions of users manage and grow their finances. This role offers the chance to mentor team members, collaborate across Product, Design, and Engineering, and contribute to high-impact features.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop native Android applications using Kotlin, MVVM, Jetpack Compose, and XML.

  • Build high-performance, dynamic UIs and scalable software.

  • Collaborate with Product, Design, iOS, Web, Backend, and QA teams to plan and deliver features.

  • Mentor junior engineers and act as a force multiplier across the team.

  • Participate in code reviews, planning, and architecture discussions.

  • Contribute to a customer-first, results-driven engineering culture.


What You’ll Bring

  • 7–9 years of professional software experience, including 5+ years in Android development.

  • Expertise in Kotlin and native Android development.

  • Strong understanding of MVVM, Repository pattern, and dependency injection.

  • Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Familiarity with feature flags, version control (git), and metrics/monitoring tools (Amplitude, Datadog).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Passion for building solutions that make high customer impact.

Compensation

  • Base salary range: $184,500 – $217,100/year

  • May include sign-on bonus, equity grants, discretionary cash bonuses, and full range of benefits
