Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud-based solutions.

Deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud stacks; educate teams on best practices and cloud technologies.

Ensure data storage and processing align with security policies and industry best practices.

Provide operational support for AWS services, including data pipelines, user access, security configurations, and maintenance activities.

Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps), incorporating automated quality and security checks.
-
Install and manage open-source monitoring tools and proactively respond to system alerts and issues.

Script and automate operational tasks using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Chef, or similar tools.

Support application integration across the system architecture using leading automation techniques.

Lead technology implementations in a product-centric, agile environment.

Research and prototype innovative solutions to improve user experience and system performance.

Identify and resolve system inefficiencies and collaborate across development and operations teams.

Contribute to operational documentation, support processes, release management, and incident response.

Adhere to CMS standards for cloud architecture, configuration, and security.

Occasionally participate in on-call support rotations, including during business hours and after-hours as needed.
Basic Qualifications
-
Must meet eligibility for Public Trust clearance through the U.S. Federal Government.

U.S. citizens or candidates meeting residency and documentation requirements (e.g., valid passport, visa/work permit, etc.).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
-
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on DevSecOps experience in AWS environments.

Proficient in:

CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

Monitoring and log aggregation tools (e.g., Splunk, New Relic)
-
Security tools (e.g., Snyk, Tenable Nessus, AWS Security Hub)
-
AWS services (both server-based and serverless)
-
Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible)
-
Programming/scripting (e.g., Python)

Application and S3 access configuration

Strong understanding of data pipelines, retention policies, and partitioning strategies.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
-
Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications

AWS DevOps Engineer Certification
Work Environment & Schedule

Fully remote within the U.S., operating primarily in the Eastern Time Zone (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET).

Occasional travel (estimated <5% annually) for training and project-related meetings.

Participation in on-call rotations as needed.
