Role Summary
LSEG is seeking a seasoned Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure and automation practices. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building robust, scalable CI/CD pipelines and managing Azure-based environments, leveraging best-in-class DevOps tools and methodologies. You’ll collaborate across teams to optimize deployments, enforce security standards, and implement observability solutions that enhance performance and reliability.
This position requires a blend of deep technical expertise in Azure cloud services, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and automation—along with a strong desire to streamline operations and contribute to continuous improvement in our cloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure aligned with DevOps best practices.

Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps.

Automate infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and ARM templates.

Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).

Implement robust monitoring and observability frameworks to ensure system health and performance (e.g., DataDog).

Analyze system metrics to optimize performance, ensure cost-efficiency, and reduce cloud resource consumption.

Automate routine operational processes and administrative workflows using Python and PowerShell scripting.

Enforce cloud security and compliance standards in collaboration with security stakeholders.

Provide Level 2 support for applications and deployments, implementing bug fixes and patches as needed.

Contribute to the improvement of DevOps tools, processes, and standards across the organization.
Required Qualifications

6–8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps with a focus on Microsoft Azure.

Deep understanding of cloud architecture (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment models.

Proven experience with CI/CD pipeline design and configuration management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform).

Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for process automation.

Familiarity with monitoring tools like DataDog and cloud cost optimization strategies.

Strong networking fundamentals and cloud security best practices.

Experience with cloud migration strategies and Azure-native services.

Agile/Scrum project experience and an adaptive, fast-learning mindset.

Education
