Overview
Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support quality initiatives, drive operational efficiency, and provide actionable insights through data analysis. This role serves as a liaison between business operations and IT, ensuring that projects, processes, and reporting align with organizational goals.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong SQL and data analysis skills, and can translate data into actionable insights for performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Implement and support quality initiatives within assigned areas.

Act as subject matter expert for quality initiative implementation, reporting, and analysis.

Liaise between internal/external customers and IT for business definition, scope, testing, and implementation.

Extract, analyze, and interpret data from multiple systems to inform operational decisions.

Support project management, issue resolution, and performance improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
-
3+ years in Operations, IT, or Reporting.

Contact center experience preferred.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.

Project management experience is a plus.

Strong experience in data analysis and SQL highly preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
