What You’ll Do

Partner with teams across the company to support effective compensation decisions during hiring, transfers, promotions, and the annual merit cycle.

Identify and resolve compensation challenges to help attract, motivate, and retain top talent.

Maintain and enforce consistent compensation standards and procedures that align with total rewards principles and internal controls, enhancing data accuracy and program compliance.

Evaluate Chewy’s compensation competitiveness through participation in annual salary surveys and ongoing market benchmarking.

Design, implement, and manage variable compensation programs that align with performance goals and strike the right balance between fixed and incentive pay.
What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

A minimum of 7 years of progressive compensation experience.

Compensation certification (e.g., CCP) is a plus.

Experience with HCM systems, preferably Workday, and strong skills in data reporting and analysis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas, and VBA/macros).

In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, best practices, and analytics.
Salary & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $155,500 – $222,000 USD
