Position Summary
SHEIN is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analysis Specialist I to join our Operations Management (OM) Team based in New Jersey. The OM team plays a critical role in driving operational excellence by managing key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing actual performance versus targets, identifying cost drivers, and uncovering opportunities for efficiency and savings. This team holds stakeholders accountable and supports strategic decision-making across the organization.
In this role, you will leverage your operational expertise and analytical acumen to build data models, uncover actionable insights, and provide high-impact recommendations that align teams, prioritize initiatives, and drive measurable improvements. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity within our dynamic corporate office.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze key logistics performance metrics, including transportation costs, delivery timelines, inventory levels, and warehouse productivity.

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to communicate logistics performance and trends to stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions to operational challenges.

Conduct deep-dive analyses to support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Monitor logistics trends and provide timely, data-backed insights to guide business decisions.

Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data through best-in-class data management practices.

Support the development of forecasting models to anticipate logistics needs and evaluate future performance.

Mentor and coach junior analysts on analytical tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on logistics or supply chain performance metrics.

Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other analytical programming languages.

Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, KPIs, and industry practices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail.

Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with statistical modeling and data forecasting techniques is a plus.
