Company Overview
With approximately 255 million customers and members visiting over 10,500 stores and numerous eCommerce platforms across 19 countries, Walmart is uniquely positioned to meet customers’ needs wherever, whenever, and however they choose.
Founded in 2021, Walmart Data Ventures harnesses the full potential of Walmart’s first-party data, providing actionable, customer-focused insights through Scintilla, our integrated insights ecosystem. Available in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, Scintilla offers merchants and brands a comprehensive solution for making data-driven decisions in today’s fast-paced retail environment.
The name Scintilla, derived from the Latin word for “spark,” reflects the idea that even the smallest insight has the potential to ignite transformative ideas. Scintilla empowers businesses to turn data into action, optimizing every stage of the customer journey—from home to store—and the product journey—from source to shelf.
At Walmart Data Ventures, our mission is to create value for customers, suppliers, merchants, and store operators by connecting insights with actionable strategies that enhance the retail experience.
