What You’ll Bring to the Role

3+ years of hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, R, Python, Spark, or MATLAB

Strong background in building predictive models

Proven experience in applying advanced techniques like:

Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)

Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA)

Multivariate regression, time-series modeling, Bayesian statistics

Segmentation modeling, machine learning, simulation, optimization, and forecasting

Bachelor’s degree (required); advanced degree preferred in disciplines like Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Operations Research, Finance, or Engineering
Preferred Skills & Experience

Familiarity with marketing analytics, ROI analysis, and attribution modeling

Experience in digital analytics, including working with Adserver or Web Analytics logs

Background in digital AdTech and a deep understanding of digital marketing metrics
The Impact You’ll Make
As part of TransUnion’s Marketing Solutions team, you’ll help Fortune 500 clients solve complex business challenges related to marketing effectiveness, return on investment (ROI), brand equity, and pricing strategy. You’ll serve as a lead data scientist on high-value engagements, working at the intersection of big data, marketing analytics, and consulting. Your insights will drive fact-based decision-making and create lasting value.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end analytics projects, including MMM, MTA, and machine learning modeling

Apply statistical, econometric, and advanced modeling techniques (e.g., logistic regression, Bayesian statistics, ridge regression, time-series, clustering)

Partner with clients to align on methodology, insights, and best practices

Collaborate across internal teams including Engineering, Product, Data Operations, and Consulting Services to deliver robust solutions

Drive innovation in marketing analytics by integrating new datasets such as identity graphs, cross-device tracking, addressable TV, and consumer journey data

Mentor junior team members and coordinate with leadership to ensure high-quality deliverables and team development

Analyze large-scale datasets to uncover insights on paid media, organic media, user behavior, and conversion paths

Deliver client-ready presentations with compelling insights on ROI, forecasting, simulation, and optimization
