We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Scientist to act as both a thought leader and AI strategist. In this role, you will design and implement advanced AI/ML solutions, mentor peers, and shape the future of healthcare innovation through cutting-edge technologies such as Generative AI (GenAI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of AI/ML solutions for healthcare applications.
  • Develop models for forecasting, classification, and risk prediction.
  • Leverage GenAI and LLMs for tasks such as summarization, generation, classification, and extraction.
  • Build robust RAG systems integrating LLMs with healthcare and business data.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into AI-driven solutions aligned with strategic goals.
  • Mentor a distributed team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Champion AI adoption, driving innovation and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of experience, including 4+ years in data science with proven AI/ML delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (advanced degree preferred).
  • Deep expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare data, HIPAA compliance, and industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in Python, ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn), and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with ML pipelines, CI/CD for ML, APIs, and cloud-native tools (VertexAI, MLFlow, Cloud Functions).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Agile and DevSecOps experience a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $121,600 – $173,700
  • Bonus Eligible: Yes
