About the Role
Vanta is on a mission to help businesses earn and prove trust by making security continuous, not just a point-in-time check. We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Data and Analytics team and lay the foundation for a best-in-class business analytics function. In this role, you’ll partner with business stakeholders, build scalable analytics processes, and deliver insights that shape strategy and growth.
Key Responsibilities

Develop DBT SQL pipelines in Snowflake to automate and manage product data assets.

Use Python/R with Hex.tech to run statistical analyses of product usage and engagement.

Explore customer journeys and extract insights using Sigma Computing.

Lead analytical projects focused on churn prediction, product growth, and risk modeling.

Define best practices for predictive analytics and AI/LLM measurement.

Conduct executive-level Analytics Reviews and communicate insights clearly to C-suite leaders.

Integrate product and GTM data stacks (Salesforce, Hubspot, Amplitude, Zendesk, Catalyst) into analytics frameworks.
What We’re Looking For

4+ years of experience in data science or analytics within a business context.

Strong skills in data visualization, statistical methods, and experimental design.

Hands-on experience building predictive models for churn and risk in B2B SaaS.

Familiarity with product analytics stacks (Heap, Amplitude, StatSig) and client tracking tools.

Proven ability to translate product experiences into growth analytics frameworks.

Executive communication skills and experience leading data reviews.

Background in BI tooling and organizational change management.
