Senior Data Scientist Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale projects from ideation to enterprise-level impact.
  • Apply advanced statistical, machine learning, and analytical methods to solve complex business problems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and well-tested solutions.
  • Collaborate proactively with stakeholders to align data science initiatives with company objectives.
  • Mentor peers and improve team-wide technical execution and problem-solving.
  • Communicate insights clearly to non-technical and executive audiences, demonstrating impact on business outcomes.
  • Identify risks early and implement strategic improvements using data-driven strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Master’s + 3-4 years experience or Ph.D. + 2+ years experience).
  • Strong foundation in probability, statistics, and machine learning techniques.
  • Expertise with SQL, Python, and relevant ML/statistical packages.
  • Proven experience using data science to drive enterprise value.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to measurable business impact.
  • Experience mentoring and leading by example, including code review and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills to connect technical work with business objectives.
