About the Role
Hinge is looking for a versatile Senior Data Scientist to join our Monetization team and contribute to product development initiatives. You’ll use analytical techniques and machine learning to evaluate opportunities, run experiments, and model user experiences. Your insights will directly shape how millions of Hinge members engage with the app and connect with one another.
Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Researchers, Designers, and Engineers to build and refine product features and strategy.

Translate product goals into data science challenges, and communicate data-driven findings back into product decisions.

Apply statistical methods to draw solid conclusions from data, focusing on designing and analyzing A/B tests and generating strategic insights to inform product direction.

Use exploratory data analysis and data mining to uncover actionable insights about user behaviors and challenges.

Work closely with the AI team to develop, refine, and test production models, such as user targeting algorithms.
What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist

Strong expertise in statistics and machine learning

Proven experience with A/B testing

Proficiency in SQL and Python (R experience is acceptable, though Python is preferred at Hinge)

Familiarity with engineering best practices in a professional setting
