Keys responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve automated CI/CD pipelines for virtualized and private cloud environments.
- Establish, oversee, and uphold DevOps best practices and standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to mid-level and associate DevOps Engineers.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to design, implement, and maintain secure, resilient, and scalable architectures.
- Streamline and automate configuration management processes.
Basic Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors in IT or related field and 5 years experience or HS/GED and 9 years experience in programming.
- Experience working with version control systems and migrations including Git, Bitbucket and TFS.
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible (preferred), Puppet, Salt, or Chef.
- Experience with repository management tools.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in programming, preferably Bash, Python, Ruby, Powershell, or Groovy.
- 3+ years Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools, particularly Jenkins.
- 3+ years Experience working with version control systems and migrations including Git, Bitbucket and TFS.
- 3+ years experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible (preferred), Puppet, Salt, or Chef.
- 3+ years of experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure. 3+ years of experience supporting Agile Scrum/Kanban teams.
