What You’ll Do
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our scalable and secure digital health platform. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performing services and drive key infrastructure initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terragrunt and OpenTofu (Terraform)

Develop and streamline CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions to enhance developer workflows
-
Automate provisioning, monitoring, and scaling using Bash, Golang, and Python
-
Apply and enforce security best practices, including IAM, network configuration, and HIPAA compliance

Partner with product teams to build scalable platform capabilities
-
Improve reliability, scalability, observability, security, and cost-efficiency across environments

Break down major initiatives into deliverable milestones and guide them to completion

Mentor peers and advocate for continuous improvement in architecture and DevOps practices

Enhance developer productivity and system maintainability by building internal tooling
-
Participate in on-call rotations to support infrastructure and respond to incidents
What You Bring
-
4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Engineering
-
3+ years of hands-on experience with core AWS services (ECS Fargate, Lambda, S3, Aurora, SQS, EC2, etc.)
-
Deep knowledge of Terraform/OpenTofu for infrastructure as code
-
Proficient in Linux administration, networking, and cloud security
-
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Golang
-
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
-
Solid understanding of Docker and container orchestration practices

Familiarity with observability tools: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Sumologic, OpsGenie, etc.

Proven ability to deliver value incrementally while planning for long-term improvements

Track record of handling production incidents and leading post-mortems

Effective communication skills and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment

Prior experience participating in on-call rotations

Experience migrating from monolithic to microservices architectures

Exposure to MLOps and platforms like AWS SageMaker

Background in backend engineering (Python, Typescript, or Golang)

Familiarity with AI-powered developer productivity tools

Competitive salary with a range between $150,000 and $200,000 depending on experience and location
