Position Summary
The DevOps Engineer (Team Lead) plays a critical role in maintaining and evolving Insperity’s software development toolchain, application performance, shared infrastructure services, and configuration management. This position leads DevOps toolchain solutions, ensuring efficient continuous delivery, release management, and automation practices across teams.
Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain Insperity’s Continuous Delivery Automation Platform.

Play a lead role in selecting and integrating DevOps tools.

Ensure critical applications remain operational and performant.

Deliver technical solutions supporting change control and release management processes.

Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability.

Define and promote best practices for DevOps engineering across teams.

Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation and specifications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather DevOps-related input and requirements.

Mentor and coach junior engineers, promoting skill development and process adoption.

Participate in the Disaster Recovery plan as required.
Qualifications
-
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

High School Diploma required.
-

Experience:
-
5–7 years in software development or at least 3 years in a DevOps engineering role.

Strong scripting and automation skills.
-
Experience with Windows environments, PowerShell, .NET Framework, and C#.

Deep understanding of CI/CD, APM, configuration management, and version control (TFS, Git).

Familiarity with IIS, Apache, and Microsoft development technologies.

Knowledge of SOX controls, networking (TCP/IP), and platform OS (Windows/Linux).

Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
