About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will lead infrastructure and deployment initiatives, shaping cloud architecture strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions. Your work will ensure engineering teams deliver secure, reliable, and resilient applications while mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture
-
Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in Azure and GCP.

Lead migrations, hybrid solutions, and cost optimization initiatives.

Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi.
CI/CD & Automation
-
Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build).
-
Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration management.
-
Reduce manual work with scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
Observability & Reliability
-
Implement centralized monitoring and alerting (Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).

Define and monitor SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs for reliability.
-
Lead incident response and postmortems.
Security & Compliance
-
Apply cloud security best practices (IAM, secrets, network security, vulnerability scanning).

Partner with compliance teams on SOC2 and regulatory requirements.

Integrate “shift-left” security into infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration & Leadership

Partner with development, QA, and product teams.

Mentor junior DevOps engineers and foster knowledge-sharing.

Evaluate emerging tools and practices for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
-
5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering.

Expert knowledge of Azure (App Services, AKS, Functions, Azure DevOps).

Strong experience with GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, networking).

Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi).

Containerization and orchestration skills (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines).

Advanced scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python).

Strong understanding of networking, DNS, load balancers, and cloud security.
