DevOps Engineer – Remote
What You’ll Do:

Maintain and optimize data center architecture using automation tools like Puppet and Ansible.

Design and execute a migration strategy to transition workloads from on-premises data centers to AWS.

Support and monitor dedicated/on-prem hardware, ensuring system health, performing upgrades, managing networking, and addressing emergencies as part of an on-call rotation.

Collaborate with IT, Security Engineering, and other technical teams to provide guidance and support.
Who You Are:
-
7+ years of experience designing and managing highly available AWS infrastructure using Terraform.

5+ years of experience maintaining production workloads in data centers as a systems administrator.
-
5+ years of hands-on experience with MySQL, including managing distributed relational databases, backup, and recovery processes exceeding 1TB.

4+ years of experience working with UNIX/Linux operating systems.

Involved in at least three major migration projects, with a strong background in architecting migration roadmaps.

Excellent communicator in a fully remote environment, capable of balancing technical, business, and product priorities.

A problem-solver who thrives on tackling challenges and learning new systems.
Bonus Points For:

Experience developing and maintaining production PHP applications.

Familiarity with technologies like Apache Solr, ElasticSearch, and ZeroMQ (especially in legacy systems).
