About the Job

ICF’s Health Engineering Solutions team is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join a mission-driven group building best-in-class healthcare reporting services. This role focuses on creating secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using DevSecOps principles and Agile methodologies. You’ll work closely with technical experts to design, deploy, and optimize automation pipelines while contributing to healthcare technology that truly makes a difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

  • Deploy and manage AWS configurations with Terraform and automation tools.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across security, networking, and development.

  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable, efficient delivery.

  • Set up continuous monitoring using Amazon CloudWatch, Splunk, and third-party tools.

  • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to enhance automation workflows.

  • Contribute to incremental, Agile-based delivery within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience managing infrastructure and applications in AWS environments.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud orchestration, automation, and configuration management.

  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and open-source integrations.

  • 3+ years of Terraform experience for Infrastructure as Code.

  • Experience working in DevOps, Agile, or Scrum environments.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

  • Must reside and work in the United States (no foreign VPN or IP access permitted).

  • Must have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the last 5 years.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing automated monitoring dashboards using Splunk or similar tools.

  • Knowledge of AWS Control Tower, GuardRails, and Transit Gateways.

  • Familiarity with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP compliance standards.

  • AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Pro) certification.

  • Working knowledge of Linux and MLOps tools (e.g., SageMaker, Airflow).

Pay Range: $98,124 – $166,810 (depending on experience, skills, and location)
Travel: Approximately 10% to client sites
Core Hours: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET (flexible based on time zone)
