Position Overview
We are seeking a technically skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our Enterprise Platform Engineering team. In this hands-on role, you will work alongside a dynamic group of cloud engineers to build and manage a scalable DevOps platform that supports development teams across the organization. You will play a central role in designing, enhancing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines with a primary focus on Jenkins, while also contributing to cloud-based shared solutions using technologies like AWS Serverless and Kubernetes.
Reporting directly to the SVP of Enterprise Platform Engineering, this role is ideal for professionals who excel in fast-paced, collaborative environments and bring a strong blend of technical expertise, development capability, and interpersonal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and operational support of Jenkins environments at an enterprise scale.

Customize and optimize Jenkins implementations using code and infrastructure scanning tools to ensure security, scalability, and performance.

Refine and enhance existing CI/CD pipelines to support robust development and deployment processes.

Develop and maintain shared solutions leveraging AWS serverless architecture, Kubernetes, and other modern cloud technologies.

Write high-quality, efficient code in Python or Node.js to support platform automation and shared services.

Partner with internal technology teams across Infrastructure Services to assist in the transition to cloud-native solutions and enterprise DevOps pipelines.

Help transform the team into a consultative center of excellence, empowering IT teams to adopt DevOps best practices and a cloud-first mindset.
Qualifications & Experience

3+ years of hands-on experience managing, maintaining, and scaling Jenkins-based DevOps environments supporting large-scale deployments.

Proven experience working with one or more CI/CD tools, including Jenkins and Octopus Deploy.

Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Demonstrated expertise in automating infrastructure deployment and working with infrastructure as code.

Strong working knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Aurora, and development with Python.

Familiarity with Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Software-Defined Data Centers (SDDC), Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), and related core network technologies.

Experience implementing DevOps and GitOps practices across teams.

Exposure to additional cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure is a plus.
