About the Role

This role will support one or more contracts with the U.S. Federal Government, which requires all Workday personnel working on these contracts to be U.S. citizens (either native or naturalized) due to federal security regulations.

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop, build, deploy, and support security-specific solutions and infrastructure aimed at protecting Workday customers’ data. The position follows a hybrid schedule, offering the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in the office while maintaining the flexibility to work remotely up to 50% of the time.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to thrive in a production-focused, diverse environment. You will be working within a fast-paced microservices architecture, where resilience and scalability are essential non-functional requirements. This role requires both independent work within your team and coordination with other teams, both locally and across different time zones. Additionally, you will manage and maintain critical production systems while building scalable digital security systems, a key component of all Workday services.

Please note that this role will involve after-hours production support in the event of critical service outages.
