Job Summary
The Senior Director of FP&A oversees financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, capital expenditure models, and strategic business models. The role involves preparing consolidated reports and presentations for Regional/Executive management and the Board of Directors. This position also leads finance-related IT projects, manages BI tools (Adaptive Planning), and provides leadership and professional development for a team of analysts.
Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Reporting

Act as Developer & Data Administrator for enterprise reporting systems (Adaptive Planning BI, Data Warehouse).

Build new dataflows, operational metrics, and KPIs.

Translate business requirements into reports and system applications.

Financial Planning & Analysis
-
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning.

Prepare consolidated financial statements and Board presentation materials.

Deliver accurate, timely monthly reports for Regional and Executive management.

Support long-term strategic plans and evaluate investments/business opportunities.

Project Leadership

Act as Business Owner for finance projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Troubleshoot technical issues, define controls, and recommend process improvements.

Drive system integrity and accurate reporting.

Team Leadership
-
Manage and mentor finance staff.

Foster professional development and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements
-
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting (Master’s preferred).

Experience:
-
10+ years in finance/accounting with strong FP&A background.
-
3+ years in BI application development/OLAP tools.

2+ years in software implementation.

Experience in multi-unit organizations with regional/corporate reporting.

Skills:
-
Strong financial, accounting, and cash flow analysis background.

Advanced skills in Excel (macros, pivot tables, external data ranges), MS Access, SQL, relational databases.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

Proven leadership, strategic planning, and team collaboration abilities.

Physical Requirements

More than 50%: Sit, stand, walk, repetitive movement, communication.
