The Opportunity

The Strategic Finance team at Vanta drives growth by building financial targets, setting budgets, and supporting leaders in executing against plans. As a Senior Financial Analyst, GTM, you will serve as a critical liaison between Finance and our Go-to-Market teams (sales, marketing, post-sales, and partnerships). You’ll combine financial expertise, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to help guide investment decisions and drive business impact.

This role reports to the Senior Manager of Strategic Finance, GTM.

What You’ll Do

• Partner cross-functionally with GTM leaders as a trusted Finance advisor.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and operating model development for GTM initiatives.
• Deliver insights on projects such as sales resourcing, marketing ROI, ARR growth, KPI reporting, and benchmarking.
• Analyze complex data to provide strategic recommendations on resource allocation and investments.
• Prepare financial models, reports, and presentations for executives and the Board.
• Weigh financial and strategic trade-offs to recommend high-impact investment opportunities.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• Experience: 4+ years in corporate finance, investment banking, FP&A, or strategic finance (preferably SaaS/start-up).
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets/Slides/Docs; SQL and NetSuite are a plus.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to extract insights from data and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Teamwork: Skilled at building relationships across GTM functions and cross-functional teams.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication, able to convey financial concepts clearly.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (advanced degree is a plus).
