Key Responsibilities of a Senior Financial Analyst

Lead the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts in coordination with department heads.

Conduct variance analysis, communicate findings, and provide performance insights to leadership.

Research, implement, and manage financial planning and budgeting software tools.

Create monthly and quarterly financial reports and KPI dashboards for executive review.

Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and data-driven analysis.

Partner with cross-functional teams to align operations with financial strategies.

Assist in preparing executive presentations and communicating firmwide financial results.

Maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy in all financial reporting activities.
Qualifications for the Senior Financial Analyst Role

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

4–6 years of progressive financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting experience.

Experience in public accounting or professional services is preferred.

MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial principles.

Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with tools like Power BI, Sage Intacct, or PowerPoint.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $55,020 – $104,304 (based on experience and location).
