Role Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst supports business strategy by delivering financial analysis related to sales, margin, and inventory management. Insights generated are used during monthly Merchandise Planning Committee (MPC) meetings and other business reviews to guide decision-making and optimize business unit strategies.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze reports identifying business opportunities and risks in inventory management.

Support monthly, quarterly, and seasonal business reviews related to sales, margin, and inventory.

Manage monthly/seasonal budget and close responsibilities for Cancels expense.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Store Finance, FP&A, Operations, Inventory Deployment, Inventory Control, and Production & Sourcing teams.

Execute special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.

Provide actionable insights to support company margin architecture, semi-annual sales planning, and liabilities expense management.
Qualifications
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred; MBA a plus.

3–5+ years of experience in financial analysis or merchandise planning, preferably in consumer products or specialty retail.
Skills & Competencies

Strong Microsoft Excel modeling and PowerPoint abilities.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across multiple management levels.
