Your Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive policy management framework that aligns with our organizational goals and risk tolerance.

  • Lead the creation, review, approval, and publication of effective information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Establish and maintain a process to regularly review and update policies based on changes in regulations, technologies, and business operations.

  • Collaborate with various business units to support policy development and implementation.

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and threats to ensure policies remain relevant.

  • Work alongside information security teams to prepare, design, and distribute essential documents to employees.

  • Partner with developers and security experts to draft technical documents and communication.

  • Ensure strict adherence to information security policies across the organization.

  • Manage relationships with auditors, regulatory bodies, and third-party assessors.

  • Lead internal and external security audits, ensuring timely completion and evidence collection.

  • Monitor the efficiency of security controls and drive necessary improvements.

  • Track regulatory changes and proactively update policies and controls to remain compliant.

  • Maintain a process to ensure compliance with key laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST CSF).

  • Develop and sustain the company’s information security framework.

What We’re Looking For

  • Expertise in compliance, regulatory frameworks, and policy development.

  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF.

  • Proven experience drafting, updating, and maintaining security policies across various domains like data protection, access control, and incident response.

  • Solid understanding of audit processes and the ability to report on gaps and drive continuous improvements.

  • Strong grasp of basic security controls (e.g., access, encryption, logging, data protection, patching) and the ability to translate technical requirements for a broad audience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.

  • Experience within the entertainment or media industry.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position in New York City is between $98,400 and $145,620 per year, depending on individual experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. In addition to base pay, the total compensation package may include a bonus, equity awards, and a full range of benefits. Specific details will be provided if an offer is made. Employment is at-will, meaning either the employee or the company can terminate the relationship at any time.
