The Opportunity
As a Senior Linux System Engineer at Gallup, you’ll play a key role in modernizing and optimizing our global infrastructure. Using the latest technologies, you’ll help migrate critical workloads to the cloud by designing, coding, testing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure automation services. Working alongside a forward-thinking technology team—including storage and cloud engineers, network specialists, and system administrators—you’ll ensure seamless integration and reliable support of Linux environments, always keeping the end-user experience at the forefront.

What You Bring
-
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience

A minimum of five years of experience in Linux server administration
-
At least five years of experience in networking or infrastructure engineering

Hands-on expertise with several of the following technologies:

Python, Jenkins, Ansible, Tomcat, Apache/Nginx, Java, Terraform, Red Hat Satellite, Docker

Additional skills that are highly desirable:

Bash scripting, certificate management, container builds/management, Git, WebLogic, PostgreSQL, and AWS experience

A willingness to work on-site at our Omaha campus at least three days per week

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $115,000 – $160,000 annually (based on experience, education, and qualifications)
