Essential Responsibilities

- Compensation Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive compensation programs, including market-based pay structures, base salary, short-term and long-term incentive plans, sales compensation frameworks, and executive compensation packages.
- Executive Benefit Programs: Collaborate with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to develop and oversee executive benefit programs, including retirement plans and additional perks designed for leadership positions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation across all employee groups, including executives and sales teams.
- Pay Equity Analysis: Lead initiatives to evaluate and address pay equity across the organization, ensuring fair and consistent compensation practices across all roles and demographics.
- Policy Development: Establish and maintain compensation policies and guidelines that align with legal and regulatory requirements, including pay equity and sales compensation compliance.
- Collaboration: Partner with HR business partners, finance, sales leadership, and executive teams to align compensation strategies with business objectives and ensure equitable pay practices.
- Data Analysis: Evaluate compensation data to measure program effectiveness, including executive compensation, short-term and long-term incentives, and benefits. Provide insights and recommendations for improvements with a focus on pay equity. Prepare and present reports on compensation trends, pay equity analysis, executive and sales compensation effectiveness, and budget impact to senior leadership.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate compensation strategies, policies, pay equity initiatives, and executive compensation plans to employees and leadership teams.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
The qualifications listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for success in this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in compensation management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on executive and sales compensation.
- Strong understanding of compensation regulations and best practices, including pay equity laws and executive compensation structures.
- Proficiency in compensation analysis tools and HRIS systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
