Role Summary:
The Wikimedia Foundation seeks a Senior Manager, People Growth & Belonging (PG&B) to lead initiatives that integrate Learning & Development (L&D) with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). You will ensure inclusive and equitable learning practices are embedded throughout the organization, enabling all staff to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- 
Define and execute PG&B strategy aligned with Wikimedia’s mission. 
- 
Manage and develop part of the PG&B team, fostering collaboration and accountability. 
- 
Oversee Engagement & Inclusion Surveys to inform people strategies. 
- 
Design and deliver scalable L&D initiatives, including leadership development, manager enablement, and career growth programs. 
- 
Champion inclusive leadership and integrate DEI values into all L&D practices. 
- 
Collaborate with HR, Recruiting, Internal Communications, and People Ops to enhance talent acquisition, onboarding, and engagement strategies. 
- 
Develop methods to assess the impact of L&D and DEI initiatives for continuous improvement. 
- 
Support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to align with organizational goals. 
- 
Act as a strategic advisor to the VP, People Growth & Belonging. 
Required Skills & Experience:
- 
8+ years in Learning & Development, organizational development, or related talent strategy roles with DEI integration. 
- 
Proven success designing and scaling leadership and manager development programs. 
- 
Strong people management experience with diverse/multicultural teams. 
- 
Systems thinking with ability to design scalable, sustainable programs. 
- 
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in global, mission-driven organizations. 
- 
Balance strategic vision with hands-on program execution. 
- 
Familiarity with learning technology platforms and data-driven approaches. 
- 
Excellent English communication skills for crafting narratives and building consensus. 
- 
Commitment to Wikimedia’s values and the free knowledge movement. 
- 
Willingness and ability to travel as needed. 
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 
Familiarity with the free knowledge/open source movement. 
- 
Experience in asynchronous or remote-first organizations. 
- 
Experience in tech or non-profit organizations.

Experience across different sociopolitical and cultural contexts.
