Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead omni-channel marketing initiatives within the healthcare continuing education (CE) space. This role is perfect for a seasoned marketer who knows how to engage licensed healthcare professionals—such as nurses, physicians, behavioral health specialists, and allied health providers—throughout their education and licensure cycles.

This role will drive customer acquisition, product adoption, and learner retention through high-impact campaigns, while managing direct reports and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver results.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the Senior Director of Marketing to develop long-term strategies aligned with licensure cycles and CEU demand.

  • Lead omni-channel campaigns across digital (SEO, SEM, paid social, email) and traditional (direct mail, print) channels.

  • Manage and mentor a Marketing Coordinator, providing direction, feedback, and growth support.

  • Oversee campaign prioritization based on regulatory calendars and customer segments.

  • Launch and monitor integrated campaigns tailored to licensed healthcare audiences.

  • Coordinate state-specific CEU campaigns timed to renewal windows and compliance deadlines.

  • Oversee content strategy and calendars—emails, course spotlights, licensure reminders, and promotional campaigns.

  • Align direct mail strategies with digital journeys for a cohesive customer experience.

  • Optimize content for SEO, including keyword strategies tied to CE needs, state boards, and specialties.

  • Lead social media strategies, leveraging user-generated content and promotions.

  • Partner with SEO and product teams on podcast planning and thought leadership content.

  • Own top-of-funnel lead generation strategies to reach new healthcare professionals.

  • Drive retention marketing to improve renewal rates and upsell premium memberships.

  • Work closely with product marketing on new course launches and industry updates.

  • Manage and report on budgets, performance, and ROI using tools like PowerBI, GA4, and Looker Studio.

  • Deliver executive-level campaign recaps with actionable insights.

  • Support marketing tied to regulatory changes and compliance-driven messaging.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

  • 6+ years of marketing experience, with 2+ years in a senior-level or leadership role.

  • Proven success in omni-channel strategy and execution (healthcare, education, or licensing preferred).

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, GA4, Looker Studio, or similar tools.

  • Strong written/verbal communication and copy review skills.

  • Experience managing direct reports and cross-functional campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CEU markets (nursing, behavioral health, allied health).

  • Experience marketing to licensed professionals with state-by-state requirements.

  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies (e.g., ANCC) and CE accreditation.

  • Understanding of licensure cycles, renewal timelines, and learner challenges.
