About the Role:
Veeva Systems is seeking a Technical Operations Associate to support and scale its world-class IRT/RTSM system. This role focuses on Systems Administration, Development Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, and Release Management. You will work closely with the RTSM team to solve complex problems, implement creative solutions, and ensure high-quality system performance.
Responsibilities:

Drive execution and delivery within the team, focusing on quality and reliability.

Lead architecture initiatives, including migrating RTSM Windows infrastructure to AWS.

Define and refine operational processes and best practices as the team grows.

Partner with senior management to determine solutions, drive alignment, and implement decisions.

Perform root cause analysis for complex failures and propose modern solutions.

Identify and manage technical risks to prevent potential issues.
Requirements:

Four-year degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.

Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS.

5+ years of experience in design and administration of Microsoft infrastructure and IIS.

5+ years of experience with cloud and clustered computing.

Proficiency with scripting languages (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.).

Strong experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and high-availability environments.

Strong communication skills.

Located on the East Coast, US.

Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base pay: $60,000 – $115,000 (may vary based on experience and location).
