Job Title: Senior Network Engineer with WIFI

Work Location: Washington, DC (Onsite)

Job Summary:

LTIMindtree is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco networking, including data center technologies and WIFI, to join our team in Washington, DC. You will be responsible for the design, deployment, and migration of enterprise data center network systems, with a focus on Cisco ACI, DNA Center, and Unified Wireless Networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, deploy, and migrate enterprise data center network systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain Cisco ACI environments.
• Configure ACI fabric, manage tenants, VRFs, EPGs, and contracts.
• Integrate ACI with external networks and virtualization platforms.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise-level Routing & Switching (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus).
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and access points.
• Configure and maintain Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) for network access control.
• Implement and manage Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for network automation and management.
• Integrate network security practices with security teams.
• Maintain detailed network documentation.
• Provide Tier 3 support and resolve complex network issues.
• Optimize wireless network performance in high-density areas.
• Create design and implementation documents according to client standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and provide recommendations.
• Solve complex multi-variable problems.

Qualifications:

• Must have Cisco WIFI implementation experience.
• Extensive experience configuring and customizing Cisco APIC controller.
• At least 7-10 years of hands-on experience in planning and designing switching network solutions and migrations for large enterprises.
• Subject matter expertise with Cisco Unified Wireless Networking (802.11 b/g/n/ac/ax, LWAPP/CAPWAP, APs, WLCs, Prime Infrastructure, Cisco ISE, Cisco DNAC).
• Good understanding of complex multi-vendor Layer 2/3/4-7 environments (Cisco, CheckPoint, Palo Alto, F5, Pulse Secure, Citrix VPN).
• Knowledge of Cisco device configuration and troubleshooting across multiple platforms.
• Expert understanding of external L2/L3 fabric connectivity and L2/L3 switching architecture design.
• Technical knowledge of common routing protocols (EIGRP, static, BGP) and switching networks.
• A good understanding of Networking (Switches, Routers, Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, LDAP, IPsec).
• Ability to manage project plans, track milestones, and identify dependencies.
• Excellent engineering project management skills.
