About the Team
Ticketmaster’s Network Services team manages the global network infrastructure supporting our data centers, contact centers, and client VPN services. We ensure reliability, security, and performance while embracing automation and innovation to deliver seamless connectivity across the business.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer with expertise in data center networking, ASA and FortiGate firewalls, and VXLAN/EVPN architectures. You’ll play a pivotal role in stabilizing, evolving, and securing our global infrastructure—supporting projects, upgrades, incident response, and continuous improvements.
This role is ideal for a problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys collaborating across infrastructure, security, and application teams.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain global network infrastructure supporting data centers and VPN services.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across ASA, FortiGate, and VXLAN/EVPN.

Participate in incident response, triage, and RCA during outages.

Perform upgrades, configuration changes, and software patches per change management policies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable deployments.

Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations and processes.

Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities with compliance and security teams.

Track and analyze capacity metrics to prevent bottlenecks.

Support audits (SOC, PCI) with configuration details and control validation.

Introduce automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices to modernize operations.
What You Bring
-
5+ years’ experience in network engineering, preferably in data center environments.

Hands-on expertise with VXLAN/EVPN architectures.

Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).

Proficiency with MLAG, VPC, STP, and HA protocols.

Deep experience with FortiGate and Cisco ASA/Firepower firewalls.

Knowledge of automation and scripting tools (Python, Ansible, Nautobot).

Familiarity with Docker, Git, Terraform a plus.

Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE) preferred.
