Job Summary
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, build, and manage a large-scale cloud network infrastructure. This role supports NVIDIA’s software development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, compute resource management, and developer productivity tools. You will architect scalable, reliable, and high-performance networks serving applications from Graphics Drivers to Autonomous Vehicles and Deep Learning frameworks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and design of NVIDIA’s cloud network infrastructure, including intra-DC, inter-DC, corporate IT, and Internet connectivity.

  • Implement, manage, and troubleshoot end-to-end network stacks across large-scale environments.

  • Automate network provisioning, management, and monitoring using scripting and automation tools.

  • Design and optimize high-performance networks across distributed computing environments and international sites.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network solutions support software workflows efficiently.


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in large-scale IP networking, with hands-on expertise in Arista switches.

  • Deep understanding of networking protocols: MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VXLAN, EVPN, QoS, GRE, IPSEC, DNS, MACsec.

  • Hands-on experience with datacenter interconnect technologies: PNI, Transit, Exchange, Passive DWDM, Wave circuits.

  • Proficiency in Python/Shell scripting for network automation and monitoring.

  • Familiarity with network virtualization (VRFs, VXLAN) and OS platforms such as Arista, Cumulus, Fortinet.

  • Proven experience building large-scale WANs and POPs used by thousands of users.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience designing and implementing automated network deployments (e.g., ZTP).

  • Strong track record in high-performance network optimization and fault-tolerant network architectures.

  • Passion for emerging technologies in AI, HPC, and distributed computing environments.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Level 4: $168,000 – $264,500 USD base salary

  • Level 5: $200,000 – $322,000 USD base salary
