Key Responsibilities of a Senior Network Operations Engineer

Provide 24/7 support in global shift rotations for network incidents, repairs, and change management.

Troubleshoot and resolve alerts within SLA timelines while communicating updates to stakeholders.

Operate and maintain large-scale IP network infrastructures, including CSP environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).

Manage advanced networking technologies: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, VxLAN, EVPN, GRE, IPsec, QoS, DNS, and MACsec.

Collaborate across teams to streamline workflows, improve change management, and document best practices.

Support peering, datacenter interconnect technologies, and WAN/LAN health monitoring.

Participate in projects involving device upgrades, capacity scaling, and performance optimization.
What We’re Looking For in a Senior Network Operations Engineer

5+ years of network operations experience.

Strong expertise in incident response and troubleshooting in enterprise or hyperscale networks.

Hands-on experience with Arista, Fortinet, and Juniper.

Familiarity with automation, provisioning, and monitoring tools for complex network management.

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
