How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Research, design, develop, test, and enhance enterprise-wide systems and applications.
  • Apply advanced expertise throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze user and business needs to design scalable software solutions.
  • Lead updates, testing, debugging, and refinements to meet client requirements.
  • Provide advanced analysis, documentation, and future maintenance strategies.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers.
  • Serve as a task or team lead when needed.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Education & Experience

  • Technical training, certifications, or a relevant degree.
  • 10+ years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll applications, including:
    • PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM and/or Payroll data models
    • PeopleTools 8.5x+
    • Oracle or similar relational databases
    • SQL performance tuning & optimization
    • PeopleCode, Application Engine, Workflow, PS Query, SQR
    • Process Scheduler, Data Mover, Import Manager
  • Experience designing PeopleSoft customizations, integrations, and conversions.
  • 5+ years’ experience with other programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, VB.NET).

Required Skills

  • North American payroll processes (tax updates, year-end, adjustments, overpayments, garnishments).
  • Development with BI Publisher, App Messaging, and Fluid Pages.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for high-visibility projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • .NET and ASP.NET web application development.
  • In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft architecture and security.
  • Experience supporting multiple PeopleSoft application/tool upgrades.

  • Compensation: $110,500 – $149,500 (based on experience, location, and contract requirements).
