Senior Product Manager – Cisco

Role Overview:

Cisco’s Provider Connectivity Networking Group is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive the strategy, definition, and market launch of hardware solutions designed for large-scale hyperscaler customers. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of datacenter frontend, AI backend, DCI, backbone, and web-edge network roles as web architectures evolve rapidly.

As a Product Manager, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to engineering execution, while closely collaborating with key customers. You will lead the strategic direction of the product line, influence the market, and serve as the liaison between the business unit, sales, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the product lifecycle, translating customer needs into clear, prioritized product requirements.

  • Design new network solutions by understanding system design tradeoffs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to drive product innovation.

  • Identify growth opportunities and craft business cases to secure product investments.

Who You’ll Work With:

You will work closely with product managers, leadership, customers, sales, engineering, and marketing teams to develop and launch cutting-edge switching and routing products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of product management experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in Service Provider, Enterprise, or Data Center Networking.

  • Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems.

  • Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and articulate issues clearly.
