About the Role
Origami Risk is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own product strategy, drive innovation, and deliver solutions that delight clients and users. This role is central to defining a 12-month roadmap, aligning cross-functional teams, and translating business needs into actionable product outcomes. You’ll partner with engineering, design, and stakeholders to build products that strengthen our leadership in risk, insurance, compliance, and safety management.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap

Own and deliver a 12-month roadmap aligned with high-value business outcomes.

Research emerging technologies and market needs to promote differentiation.

Validate priorities with data to ensure resources focus on solving the right problems.

Build deep subject-matter expertise in product and market domains.
Requirements & Documentation

Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements.

Write detailed user stories and maintain product artifacts (visual workflows, system designs, etc.).

Partner with engineering and design to ensure feasibility, usability, and alignment with product vision.
Backlog & Agile Team Support

Act as Product Owner for the scrum team—planning sprints, prioritizing work, and clarifying requirements.

Maintain backlog health, prepare features/bugs for upcoming sprints, and confirm epic completion.

Lead refinement ceremonies and support sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and testing.
Stakeholder & Business Partnership

Align stakeholders around roadmap and priorities to ensure transparency.

Act as liaison between business teams and development.

Partner with marketing and operations on market responses and RFIs.

Champion Origami Risk’s values of client success, innovation, and collaboration.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, science, or related field.

7+ years’ product management experience including Agile team leadership.

Proven experience owning product roadmaps and driving delivery.

Strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic planning skills.

Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with full product lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Preferred: Background in Risk Management and/or P&C Insurance.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $145,000–$175,000 (based on experience & location).

Annual bonus eligibility.
